today was embarassing... hehe... every 4 weeks, comes this time which i dread most... the time where i have to lead the school in singing the national anthem... which is okay... i guess... problem is, its early in the morning and voice is always elusive... well, i've been having a sorethroat for a week but still decided to sing. so went up there and got ready. somehow something managed to slip off my mind. the song began and i sang. then i listened hard. nothing was coming across the system!! oops... i forgot to check if the mike was turned on... *stares at feet and blushes*... hehe... while singing, tried to find the little 'on' button, which managed to escape my fingers. gah... it was embarassing!
or was it God's way of saving me from more embarassment? cuz i felt tt i did go off key a few times with my hoarse voice... hehe...
well, lesson learnt... never trust pa to on your mike!! nah... just do your own things yourself... save yoursel lottsa trouble and embarassment.

finally!! back to civilisation!! hahas... air-con, soft bed, hot water, the com and my beloved handphone!! =D i love it.

thank God for the protection and good weather He provided...

well, came back from sec 3 camp today and unpacked everything, bathed and plonked onto the bed and slept! until i had to wake up to go for tuition... =( camp was GREAT!! i got sunburnt though... and of all places, it was my nose!! so i went about with a red nose!! everyone went rudolf the red nose reindeer!! -.-'''
well, campsite was at changi which had a drawback. there were planes constantly taking off!! even through the night! on the first night, i was suddenly awaken by a very LOUD taking off. i was jolted awake and the first thought that came to my mind was... "oh no! the plane is about to crash!" so i shut my eyes and waited for my death. crazy as it seems, i really thought about that!! hahas... well, it was 4 a.m. in the morning!! couldnt think right...
so the brief overview of the camp...
*1st day*
arrived at campsite and got settled in our bunks. proceeded for first activity. belay school. then had the challenge rope course. we had to walk over the the log in the air. i am sure everyone has done that. but being me, *extremely afraid of heights* i clung to the pole for a very long tiime. =) hehe.
we then had absailing... woohoo!! i loved this!! when i went up, i made the mistake of looking down. i saw how high i was and i started shaking. i was shaking so bad the instructor had to grip me. lol. when i finally was ready to go, i shut my eyes and went down. s...l...o...w...l...y...
fast forward to night trust walk.
it was like so dark!!! we clung on to each other... as in the 21 girls!! and six of us, vera, cherie foo, tze kei, daen, vril and i sang... the instructors kept asking us to shut up... =X meanies.
*2nd day*
had map/compass reading. we were last ALL the way until the last station where we caught up to come in second place. we go girls!! glad that you guys didnt give up!!!
after lunch we had canoeing!! it was fun!! though avril and i kept going in circles!! hahas. erpp. and i got wet coutesy of wan ting and insturctor sam. eww. salty water means salty me.
we then had knots and lashing cum raft building. after building our raft, 4 of us had to go test it out. out we went in an extremely awkward position... you should have seen us!! we took turns falling arnd!! first was carmen, than me, than tze kei and lastly vera. we were all laughing so hard cuz no matter how hard we rowed, we just kept moving backwards!
lastly, campfire!! the emcee was kind of gay but he made it so fun. we enjoyed ourselves!!
*3rd day*
pack up and did area cleaning... we had to sweep sand!! diao. well, after that had prize presentation and went back to school and finally went back home!!

haii...

i am SO bored...

ekks...

i am in school now...

and we are having some interactive thingy for social studies.

we are 'supposed' to do research...

but as anyone can guess...

NO one in class actually bothers to do it!

i love my class!!

cuz whatever we do,

we do it together!!

and that includes slacking!

some random thoughts.

- joshua hasnt been in school for a long time...

some peace and quiet at last!!!

- i screwed up my singing for the national anthem today.

- i am bored.

- i have chem tuition at 3.

- i am still bored.

- I MISS MY SISTER!!!

- i am still bored!!

- social studies ends in 10 minutes.

- its only 8.40 am in the morning.
