well. just received a sms from my partner.
GUESS WHAT?!
she's changed courses!
she's now doing english for academic purposes.
AND SHE ONLY TELLS ME ONE NIGHT BEFORE THE HOMEWORK IS DUE!!!!
bbbbbbbbbllllllllllllllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

haha. today, i learnt something new from a girl from burma.
the conversation was totally funny and 'enriching'!
basic info, i have a classmate called ashley.
she's from burma and she's 19.
ashley: so where do you stay?
me: oh, i live in the city. you?
ashley: oh. i live on grenfell street.
me: oh?! really? me too!!
ashley: i erm. stay at princes apartment.
me: NO WAY! me too!!
ashely: i stay on level *.
me: WHAT?! me too!!
*both of us are laughing by now...*
ashley: mine is apartment ***
me: i'm at ***!
*well, obviously i couldnt possibly be in the same apartment as her...*

on the other hand, the irresponsibility of my partner is SERIOUSLY irking me.
really.
homework due tommorow.
we need to talk about an advertisement.
given to us last week.
i went to look for adverts, photographed them,
emailed them to her thrice: no reply. not once.
i msged her to let her know i emailed her: no reply.
so i thought she was injured or sick or smth.
so i called her just now: she kiap my phone.
she msged me saying that she'll call me back.
that was at 6.30pm.
it is now 9 pm.
looks like i'll have to do this by myself.
so much for groupwork.

nice scenery from the peek of mount lofty...

haha. i am super duper happy with my time table for the term!!

why? because it leaves my fridays free!!

so technically, i have a 3-day weekend!

*claps hands*

mondays: 9am-10am, bio lecture. 1 pm-3 pm, critical thinking. 3pm-5pm, bio prac.

tuesdays: 10am-12pm, psyhcology. 1pm-3pm, math studies. 3pm-5pm, lit & media studies.

wednesdays: 8am-10am, critical thinking. 2pm-3pm, bio tutorial.

thursdays: 8am-10am, math studies. 10am-12pm, lit & media studies. 1pm-2pm, psyhcology.

fridays: I HAVE NO LESSONS!! SO NO SCHOOL!! YAY!

even in between some lessons, i have quite some free time!

so i'm still able to go home and rest and then go back to school!

well thank God, for such a relaxed time table.

but that only means i have to do more self-studying.

which means, must be more disciplined! *mission impossible man.*

haha. oh well.

thank God also for the many other friends provided!

i'm starting to know them more, and they aint so bad people after all...

slept late last night and woke up pretty early this morning.

so i'm gonna bed just about now...

so much has happened these few days...
so i'll do a brief run through...
tuesday.
- family landed safely in adelaide. *praise God.*
- had dim sum lunch with them.
- had subject selection. i am doing literature & media studies, critical thinking, math methods, biology and psychology. *suprisingly, i did fairly well in my 2 tests!! thank God!*
- went to ikea to get me wardrobe, clothes rack and bookshelf!
wednesday.
- went to handoff, a german town, after school.
- we wanted to go to the monarto zoo, but it was closed. so we went to dundee wildlife reserve.
- had pizza for reunion dinner. *the first time ever!!*
thursday.
-erm. nowhere as i had school for almost the whole day.
friday.
- we went to the toy factory and the little wildlife park.
there was one kangaroo that was SO thin and hungry that it GRABBED me when i fed it!
poor thing...
- we went to Gorge wildlife park and had a whale of a time!
- after which we went to haigh's chocolates and bought LOTS AND LOTS of chocolate!!
- aunty and uncle and my half-sister arrived from melbourne.
* i think it's super cool that i have a half sister!! haha. this is because my mom is her mom's sister and my dad is her dad's brother. haha. i think it's SO COOL!!!*
saturday.
- we got a huge mpv to drive the 8 of us around! it's like a mini van!
- we went to mount lofty *sounds like it came from some fairytale*
- then we went to monarto zoo. *finally!!*
- we went to victor harbour.
- went back to adelaide and walked for about half an hour, finding a place to eat. ughh.
sunday.
- went to church. *the people there are super nice!!*
- had a quick lunch.
- whisked my uncle, aunty and half sister to the airport.
- went back home and stayed there till now.

i woke up bright and early today!
haha. 7.50am to be exact.
had breakfast, did quiet time, changed,
and off to school i went!
well, after registration, they brought us to the uni of adelaide.
went to one of the lecture halls in the phyiscs and chem department.
there, we had 2 tests!!
TESTS!!! one math and one english!
haha. thank God i remembered what i learnt last year in a and e math!
i forgot how to prove equations, but i still could do differentiation. =)
sadly, i didnt bring my calculator.
i mean would you bring one on the first day of orientation?!
well, amazingly, i'm the only singaporean there!
there were lots of china people, hong kongers and malaysians...
and there's one soviet union guy!
its so cool! there's many others too.
but no auzzies!
it was then i found out, its an international school.
XP australians go to public schools and when they finish year 12, they go to uni.
haha. very blur of me.
well, i made 2 new friends today!
God answered my prayers!!
both are from china!
one's lulu, the other is crystal.
the two of them are like super nice and funny!
haha. thank God for such a wonderful day!

haha. well. it sure was different.
i mean it just felt strange going to a church other than bfc.
the people there ae super nice,
which reminds me of the bfc folks...
sigh. i miss my family, friends, doggie and singapore!
but it certainly is an interesting new experience!
i'm happy to be here!
well. i cooked dinner yesterday!
AND it wasnt burnt! XD
being away from home sure makes a person more independant!
no more relying on others to do your laundry, groceries and yada yada.
you gotta do everything yourself.
tommorrow is the first day of school!
i'm excited and yet apprehensive.
haha. contradicting.
i wonder how the people will be like.
from what i hear, there's lots of asians.
i cant wait!
