i put my baking skills to the test today!!
i decided to make brownies!!
haha. partially because i wanted to bring them to the young adults fellowship meeting tmr.
cuz my group is in charge of the mtg tmr.
lol. i know it doesnt look fantastic,
but it tastes better than it looks.
it's a little too sweet though...
that's a molten fudge brownie!!

had a fairly interesting critical thinking lesson yesterday...
all started with an exercise to determine arguments and reasons.
one of the sources given was from the bible!
1 John 4:8
"He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love"
and somehow, the conversation led to how people acted.
my critical thinking teacher was commenting something along this line,
"sometimes people who claim to know God do things that are the opposite of love!
isn't this ironic?
instead of 'knowing' love, they seem to be 'knowing' hate!"
he goes on to say about how the christians used to wage war on those who were not christians,
and how muslim extremists were.
and i was, well, in silence.
i mean, isn't it true?
that sometimes we, who claim to love God and be christians,
can act just so horribly and show the opposite of love?
instead of loving others like we should,
we do something that makes us a bad testimony.
how utterly embarassing!
