i think i've got the funniest parents ever. =)

i think that it's pretty sad that though mother's day is rather commercialised,

father's day is well... pretty 'left out'

fathers deserve just as much recognition as mothers do!

they both play important roles in bringing up a child.

i think that without either,

the child still suffers.

sure, fathers do not spend as much time at home as mothers,

but they work to bring back money so that the child can be fed and educated.

the father, being the man of the house, disciplines his children for their benefit.

"He who spares the rod hates his son,

But he who loves him disciplines him promptly." Proverbs 13:24
the father will do that which the mother cant do.

we're not like some animals,

where after the mother gives birth,

either the father or mother leaves.

no! there's a purpose for the two to remain together!

so that they can work together to bring up their child.

fathers are just important as mothers in every child's life!

that is why i am thankful for both of mine!

but today, i just wanna say to my daddy,

"Happy Daddy's Day!"
