gah, overslept today. hehe.
was supposed to wake up at 6.50am for school.
alarm went off and i snoozed till 7.15 am.
woke up and goodness knows why,
i went back to sleep again!
woke up at 7.45am in the end!
haha, lesson starts at 8 am.
i was very tempted to go in my pjs.
so that i could save time changing...
but decided against it.
too cold. =D
rushed all the way and managed to reach at 8.05 am!
and lessons had not even begun!
cuz we were locked outside the classroom!
hah!
=) one of the many advantages of living 5 mins away from school!!
i've been having headaches since mon.
and all cuz i walked into a door.
are you trying to forget me?

not feeling too well today.
got a fever i think and a raging headache.
not in tip top condition as you can see.
then again, how great can one feel after walking head on into a swinging door??

there are some things that i've been thinking over the past few days.
and one is on the topic of sin.
i have come to realise how proud people can be.
there is no such thing as a bigger sin or a smaller sin.
sin is still sin in God's eyes.
then why do many pride themselves to be 'better sinners'?
it almost seem ridiculous, does it not?
i think so too.
and why do people continue to do things they know is wrong?
like why does a murderer murder?
why does a thief steal?
why do we continue to do what we do?
too many questions, it's blowing my mind.
what do you do when you watch someone fall into sin?
why does doing right sometimes feel like it's wrong?
and why does doing wrong sometimes feel like its right?
oh Lord, change me!

Day 8: off to visit relatives in Arthur's Creek!

day started terribly...

our friend's housemate locked the gate,

which meant that we were locked in!!

we waited for nearly 3 hours to be let out!

but when we finally arrived at Arthur's Creek,

my mood had already improved.

hehe... it was beautiful!!

this is their home...

on 20 acres of land!!

they even have a hen house!!
these are their 2 dogs.
they are brother and sister!
this is a rabbit hole!
rabbits are considered pests in australia...
their kitchen is like something you see in fairytales!!

i love their fireplace!!! haha.

after a nice home cooked dinner and some tv,

we went to bed tired but contented...

Day 9: woke up at 9am.

as van was still sleeping,

decided to go for a walk with my aunt first!

THERE WAS AN EGG!!

and it was freshly laid!

the egg was still warm and wet!!

after that, we got back to the house.
by then,van was awake.
so we decided to go for another walk...

they even have cows grazing!!
haha. i think they are so comical...
they are actually standing in line!!

while walking, we came upon this...

felt rather sad...

Day 10: back to Adelaide!
woke up at 4 am and went to the airport to catch the 6.30 am flight...
guess that shows how far we were from the airport eh?
landed in Adelaide, did grocery shopping, some unpacking and...
slept till 7pm.

end of story.

Day 4: we went SNOWBOARDING!!!!
it was superb! the only drawback was that we had to wake up at 3 a.m. to reach the pick up point at 4.30 am.
at around 8 am, we reached the equipment rental place, rented our gear and went back into the bus for an hour ride up to the mountain...

after a long long day of fun!!

we snowboarded till about 4 pm and bussed all the way home. had dinner at around 10 pm at kfc and conked into bed and slept...

Day 5: awoke at noon! all aching and bruised... haha. went to Victoria street for vietnamese food!

Day 6: Victoria market and toured around the city.

Dinner was at some far far away place with church people. we had to take a 40 min train ride there! the food was only so-so... i had no idea what i was eating, except that it was really salty...

Day 7: Church and Broadway musical!

we went for lunch after church
they have really good taiwanese food!

BACK FROM MY 10 DAYS MELBOURNE TRIP!
i am feeling so recharged! i am ready to face the world again! i am ready to get back into school life!! i can take on anything!!!
... hmm... ok, maybe not.
but ANYWAYS, that's not the point!
this is the short summary for the first part of my trip...
i predict this and the next few posts to be really long!

day 1: arrived in melbourne at 10 pm. went straight to friend's house and slept.
day 2: started the day with breakfast in Endis cafe at Brunswick.

it's SO good!

hot chocolate!!
this is what van calls 'happiness in a cup"!
after that, we walked around that area and did window shopping.

for dinner, we went to a gelare shop called al freddo.
they have THE BEST gelare ice cream!!
after that we went for bible study. =)
went home and awaited for 2 other girls to arrive to complete our group of five!

Day 3: met up with friends and just walking around at factory outlets...
