Day 8: off to visit relatives in Arthur's Creek!

day started terribly...

our friend's housemate locked the gate,

which meant that we were locked in!!

we waited for nearly 3 hours to be let out!

but when we finally arrived at Arthur's Creek,

my mood had already improved.

hehe... it was beautiful!!

this is their home...

on 20 acres of land!!

they even have a hen house!!
these are their 2 dogs.
they are brother and sister!
this is a rabbit hole!
rabbits are considered pests in australia...
their kitchen is like something you see in fairytales!!

i love their fireplace!!! haha.

after a nice home cooked dinner and some tv,

we went to bed tired but contented...

Day 9: woke up at 9am.

as van was still sleeping,

decided to go for a walk with my aunt first!

THERE WAS AN EGG!!

and it was freshly laid!

the egg was still warm and wet!!

a home grown daffodial!!
beautiful.

home grown rose as well!
they have a wide variety of roses!

flowers again,
but no idea what these are called...

after that, we got back to the house.
by then,van was awake.
so we decided to go for another walk...

they even have cows grazing!!
haha. i think they are so comical...
they are actually standing in line!!

while walking, we came upon this...
a kangaroo's skull...
felt rather sad...

Day 10: back to Adelaide!
woke up at 4 am and went to the airport to catch the 6.30 am flight...
guess that shows how far we were from the airport eh?
landed in Adelaide, did grocery shopping, some unpacking and...
slept till 7pm.

end of story.
