priorities. our whole life is about our priorities.
as we grow older, our priorities are bound to change.
but one thing that doesnt for us, christians,
is that we should please and glorify God in what we are doing.
1 Corinthians 10:31
Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
well, how do we do that?
we do that by doing our duties at where God puts us.
as students, our duty is to study.
our duty isnt to get jobs and work ourselves to death,
neither is it getting all overly stressed out by our ccas,
it also isnt about partying till the sun rises again.
no, it is to study!
sure, cca is part of school life,
and you can get a part time job if it really is necessary.
and no, i'm not saying that you can ONLY study with no fun!
but there is a time for everything.
Ecclesiastes 3:1
To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
everything we do, there is a limit.
that fine line a need and greed.
there is reason why we as students, should be studying now.
we are still too young to face the pressures and stress of a working life.
and if we are so wrapped up in our ccas,
what will happen to our future after we leave school?
you cant march your whole life, you can play a sport or musical instrument your whole life.
you know the saying, "you have the whole world on your plate"?
well, if your plate is still small, dont try to pile too many things on top.
it will spill.
just like our lives, we want too many things on our "plate" now.
we fail to realise that we cannot have everything we want.
why throw away your education, your future, for something like a part time job and cca now?
is it really worth it?
sure, God says that He will bring you through your life.
but if you dont study, what can He do for you?
you expect to go for an exam unprepared and without studying,
and God will magically put all the answers in your head?
somehow, i doubt that it works that way...
