okay, sorry for the lack of updates...
been pretty busy this week with orientation...
but since today is the last day... =D
i think the more i learn about OT,
the happier i am about chosing to do this course!
well, basically, there are 75 of us.
7 of them are males. so if you do the math, 68 are females.
the ratio is like 10:1!!
oh and only 4 of us are 'true asians',
the rest have grown up in australia!
i spend on average about 14 hours a week in uni,
and the rest is study time!
oh oh oh! and the best part is that i only have 1 exam in july!!
cuz my other 3 subjects are assignment based!
WAHAHA. oh and there is something cool/gross about the anatomy course i'm doing!
we get to dissect a kangaroo's shoulder!
but the lesson isnt compulsory! which is good news for me!!
because i dont think my stomach can take it...

ok, so i'm 18 today.

actually, when i woke up today,

i forgot that it was my birthday.

then, sis lydia called me.

haha. i then realised that it was the 21st today.
=) oh well, i was still pretty groggy when i woke up at 12.30 pm. >.>
well, 18... dont really feel like it.

i still feel... well, like a kid.

haha, i will grow up soon lar.

just not for now...

in less than a week, i'll be gone.
off to adelaide again...
a part of me cant bear to leave,
esp since there's so much to be done,
and there's family and friends,
and yet there is a part of me that just wants
to go back and just leave all the nonsense behind.
well, i guess you cant have the best of both worlds hey?

so my two day attachment with changi general hospital has come to an end.
and i must say, it was a real eye-opener.
i truly enjoyed myself and i have learned much from it.
okay, i also have a better understanding to what an occupational therapist does.
i can actually see myself in that role,
and my interest has been deepened!
hmmm. i think i'm beginning to see why God placed me OT.

okay. apparently i'm pretty slow.
but somehow i wish i never knew.
i think sometimes the ignorance really is bliss.
there's so much i would give up for just to experience the childlike innocence of the past,
to play with friends just like last time without having a care in the world.
sigh. i guess once it's gone, it really is gone.
just have to learn how to move on.
