haha. just completed my placement at The Memorial Hospital- Rehabilitation.
and i must say, i am really glad i took OT.
seeing what the OTs do in action,
seeing how they applied what i learned in uni is really cool!
now after seeing what i 'can' do in the future,
it's motivating me even more!
through the week, i've seen many cases,
and i've learnt to be more grateful,
more compassionate, more loving and even more giving.
'though i am only one person, i believe i can make a difference.'
haha. my supervisor's belief.
and a good one at that i think!
one thing i cannot get my head around- politics.
but then again, which workplace doesnt have it?
thank God for the path He has led me too. =)
He really knows what's best for me! =D

many questions still unanswered.
many doubts still present.
i guess it's still quite hard to accept the fact that some of your friends are no longer there.
maybe it's just self denial.
or unbelief even.
and that just because people believe in different things and are no longer near each other, your non-christian friends have different beliefs ! and you're still friends with them!
they distance themselves and pretend that the friendship never existed?
the irony of it! isnt God meant to be love?
i still ask myself why things ended like that,
and it still bewilders me.
Lord, You promised comfort when i am distressed,
You promised hope when i am giving up,
You promised strength when i am weak,
You promised faith when i am unbelieving.
Lord, i need all that and so much more.
Lord, You give grace to the humble.
teach me to be humble.

haha. so exciting!! going on my first placement next week!!
it's at a neuro and ortheopedic rehab hospital!!
so i'll be able to meet people with stuff like stroke, hip replacements, alzhemirs (dont know how to spell that...) and fractures! sounds real exciting!!
i cant wait!! one whole week at that place!!
FINALLY get to sees OTs at work in Australia!!
on another note, today's lecture was a complete waste of time.
spent 45 mins learning how to wash my hands,
why i should wash my hands and when to wash my hands.
