started the day off wonderfully with a good devotion today.
it was basically about waiting on the Lord and i found it speaking directly to me.
many a times we set our hearts solely on God's blessings,
often wondering why it takes so long for it to come or whether it will come at all.
it isnt that God wants us to be left stranded, only able to depend on ourself.
no! He wants to manifest His goodness in us!
and for this reason, He often holds them back so that He is able to get our total adoration, our total love.
not only when we receive the gift or blessing,
but even while waiting for it to come, even when it never comes.
just to show us that He is worth the wait.
and to enable us to be able to wait continually on the Lord. not just in times of need. but as a habit, as a desire to do so.
what we really need is more OF God and NOT needing something more THAN God.
like what Jim Berg said, God is MORE than enough for me.
The Lord is good to those who wait for Him,
to the soul who seeks Him.

hmm. getting a bit bored and well, stressed.
so let's come up with a count down list!
get some motivation of sorts! =)
3 weeks till to EO 'test' and the dateline of 5 psychology essays.
4 weeks of uni left.
4 weeks till my 2 week study break. during which, 3 assignments are due.
7 weeks till my exam.

my two weeks term break just flew past like that!! =(
it wasnt what i would call a holiday because i had sooooo many assignments due DURING the two weeks, it was just so bleah.
but i holidayed for one day- today. it's labour day here. =D
i have never spent so much time in uni during my hols before.
-.-''' but i must say, being in uni makes me do my work.
hah. how sad.
oh well, but i did do fun stuff too!
like going to harbour town with van (got a pair of jeans for like $10!!!), eating ikea meatballs, photoshoot of sorts, friend's birthday party, dim sum with church people & hiking (today), VERY fun gym lessons :) and just lots of baking...
uni starts again tmr- sobs.
but after 5 more weeks of uni, study break and then exam!!
haha! only one exam- 23rd nov.
but 1 test, 1 presentation and 4 assignments are due.
no complaints from me though.
because all of the assignments are workbook tasks that have to be completed each week...
sigh.
it's october. means its spend lots of money month.
because of a certain SOMEBODY...
